Landscape gardeners in Radlett
Larger plots and steep drives. The Kharne entrance is the project we show for this kind of hill.
Radlett plots are often deeper than they look from the pavement, and a surprising number of drives fall away from the house or climb straight up from the road. That is a walling job as much as a paving job.
Mr and Mrs Kharne’s drive is the example. A long, steep entrance was rebuilt in block paving, with stone and timber walling holding the bank. It was left ready for planting once the hard landscaping had set the lines.
Behind the houses, the brief is usually the same as everywhere else in this part of Hertfordshire: somewhere to sit, a lawn that can be cut in half an hour, and trees looked after before they lean on the fence. Hertsmere is the council for tree preservation orders in the parish.
